REMEMBER TO FULLVIEW!

Here's a template you can use for your wallpaper packs!

Look below for how to use it! (NOTE: you might have a problem with the font. I don't know if it will be replaced with a normal font or not.)

SIZE:
Well, first of all, the zip file itself is about 7MBs. Big, right? The actual photo when you open it is 2000x2000, because it uses vector images and now you can make it as small as you want!

INCLUDED:
So the zip file includes both XCF and PSD (meaning GIMP and PhotoShop, respectively) files. I haven't personally tested the PSD, so if you spot any problems, let me know. I do believe the text is not registered as text, so you might have problems with that. It also includes the preview image (PNG).

USAGE:
  1. So open up either the XCF or the PSD files. You can open both of them in GIMP, but only the PSD file in PhotoShop.

  2. If you're wondering what those blue dotted lines are, they're called guides. They're... well... guides. The two included tell you where the columns are on the info bar at the bottom. Just start the text bits at those lines. You'll also see there are a number of layers: resolutions, link--other-info, colors, info-bar, wallpaper, monitor, and background.
    • Resolutions: lists the available resolutions of the wallpapers. I've included a few examples. If you need more room, you'll have to figure it out yourself (maybe make the text smaller).

    • Link--other-info: this includes the place for your deviantART link and any other info you want to put there.

    • Colors: this is where the available colors of the wallpapers are. Just take those little white rectangles, select all of the white, and use the paint bucket to fill in the color you want. NOTE: I included Paths (for those editing aficionados) for the selection areas around the white boxes. You can use the paths if you're too lazy to select them yourself. ;P

    • Info-bar: that's just where the bar at the bottom of the screen is. Don't worry about it unless you want to change the color of it.

    • Wallpaper: that's where you put the wallpaper. It's located in the "screen" area of the monitor.

    • Monitor2.png: that's the new rounded version of the monitor. I have it set to visible and the original (see Monitor below) hidden.

    • Monitor: this is the original ([link]) monitor for easy access. As with the info-bar, don't worry about it unless you want to recolor it, but if you want to use it, you have to "show" it (I currently have it hidden) by clicking the "eye" icon next to the layer in the layers panel.

    • Background: finally, this is where you put your background. Put in whatever you want, a pattern, a solid color, a gradient, whatever.

  3. From there, just change it however you want. Add your main wallpaper, change the resolutions that you have available, change the colors, and fill in the rest of the layers and info.

Have fun!
